Welcome to the Sun City: El Paso, Texas! The city of El Paso is located at the far western tip of Texas, five minutes away from the most famous southern country, Mexico, and 45 minutes from our neighbor state, New Mexico.

El Paso is exactly midway between the cities of Houston, Texas and Los Angeles, California. Our Sun City shares the Mountain Time Zone along with our sister city, Juarez, Mexico, just directly across the border.

We are situated in the Chihuahua Desert and enjoy more than 300 days of sunshine each year, and annual rainfall averages eight inches. The altitude downtown is 3500 feet, while atop the Franklin Mountains it's 7200 feet. Temperature ranges from a low average of 30F (-1C) in January to a high of 95F (35C) in July.

The Holiday Inn El Paso is located one mile from El Paso International Airport, and our 24 hour on call shuttle service is provided by the hotel for your convenience. 

From El Paso International Airport:
Take Airway Boulevard South for one mile. Hotel is on the right side at the corner of I-10 and Airway Boulevard.

From Albuquerque, New Mexic
Take I-25 South (Route 60) to I-10 East. Take I-10 East into El Paso to exit 25 and take a left at the light (Airway Boulevard). Hotel is located on the left-hand side, on the corner.

From Midland / Odessa, Texas:
Take I-10 West into El Paso. Take exit 25 and the hotel is located on the corner, on the right-hand side.

From Juarez, Mexic
Enter the USA through Cordova Americas Bridge and follow Freeway Bridge to I-10 East. Continue for two miles on I-10 East to exit 25 and take a left. Hotel is located on the left-hand side, on the corner.

We also provide complimentary transportation within a five-mile radius, which includes Ceilo Vista Mall, Bassett Center Mall, and a wide variety of restaurants.

Additional Transportation
Complimentary trolley pickup from our hotel to the substation downtown is provided when you want to take a trip across the border to Juarez for some shopping. There is a small fee for the trolley service to cross the bridge.  Taxi services are also available with a minimal fee depending on your destination.
